Day 01 :

Marrakech → High Atlas → Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah → Dades Valley (6 hours Drive)

Start the journey with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 AM. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views and photographs of traditional Berber villages. Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a filming location for movies like Gladiator and The Mummy. After a lunch break in town, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gate of the Desert.” Explore the Taourirt Kasbah and pass through the scenic Rose Valley, home to the annual Rose Festival and a landscape dotted with kasbahs and palm groves. Arrive in the Dades Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Berber Camp (5 hours Drive)

Rise early to witness a stunning desert sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga on camelback and begin your journey north. Pass through the vast Tafilalet palm grove, the largest in the world, and stop at the Ziz Valley for spectacular views of the lush oasis and nearby villages. Break for lunch in Midelt before continuing through the Cedar Forests near Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques. The trip concludes with a stop in Ifrane, a charming town nicknamed “Moroccan Switzerland,” known for its alpine-inspired architecture and ski resort. What Happens to Your Luggage During the Camel Ride?

You will only take essential items for the camel ride. The rest of your luggage will be transported by the camp’s 4×4 vehicle and will be waiting for you at the camp upon arrival.
