Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Rose Valley → Dades

Start your journey with a scenic drive through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, making stops to admire breathtaking panoramas. Visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its appearance in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert," and visit its film studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Pass through the fragrant Rose Valley before arriving at Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay at a charming riad or hotel.

Day 02 :

Dades → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Sahara Desert

After breakfast, explore the stunning Dades Gorges and then head to the Todra Gorges, where towering red cliffs create a dramatic canyon landscape. After a lunch break, journey to the golden sands of the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel trek through the dunes at sunset, followed by a magical evening at a luxury desert camp. Day 03 :

Merzouga Exploration → Nomads → Khamlia Village → Desert Lakes

Wake early to witness the mesmerizing desert sunrise. After breakfast, explore the Merzouga region, visiting nomadic families to learn about their way of life. Stop at Khamlia Village to experience Gnaoua music and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Discover the wild flamingo lake and take a stroll through the nearby palm groves. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a cozy hotel in Merzouga.

Day 04 :

Dades Valley → Roses Valley → Palm Groves of Skoura → Amridil Kasbah → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech ( 6 Hours Drive )

On last day of your 4-day desert tour from Marrakech, we continue to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, oil, to cosmetic products. Then we drive along various Kasbahs, including Amridil Kasbah surrounded by the palm trees grove of Skoura. We reach Ouarzazate, free time for lunch in town. Then we continue to Marrakech by driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Finally, we drop you off at your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. End of the tour

Is the tour private or shared?

What type of vehicles are used?

The tour uses air-conditioned 4×4 vehicles or minivans, depending on the group size:
- 4×4: Land Cruiser Prado (up to 4 passengers)
- Minivans: Mercedes Vito Tourer or Ford Custom Van (up to 8 passengers)
- For groups larger than 8, a minibus (up to 18 passengers) is available.

How long is the camel ride?

The camel ride lasts between 40 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the camp you’re staying in.

What is the alternative to camels?

If you prefer not to ride camels, 4×4 vehicles can transport you and your luggage to and from the desert camp. Additionally, ATVs can be arranged at an extra cost.

What happens to your luggage during the camel ride?

During the camel ride, only essential items are taken with you. Your remaining luggage will be transported in the camp’s 4×4 vehicle, and you will find it waiting for you at the camp.

What about dietary preferences?

Please inform us of any dietary preferences in advance, and we will ensure that your needs are met. We will coordinate with the camp and restaurant staff for lunch stops and dinners.

Yes, this tour is suitable for all ages. However, please note that it involves 4 to 6 hours of driving each day. If you’re not used to long drives, we recommend considering a longer tour for a more relaxed experience.

Where do we get picked up and dropped off?

Pick-up is from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech at 9:00 a.m. For drop-off, we return you to your hotel, Riad, or the nearest available parking lot in Marrakech, typically between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

What currency should I bring?

It’s recommended to carry Moroccan Dirham (MAD) for convenience, though Euros or USD can be exchanged at banks or currency exchange bureaus. ATMs are widely available.
